Antigo Court Docket Searches
An Antigo case with a Wisconsin circuit case number starts at Wisconsin Circuit Court Access, known as WCCA or CCAP. Type the full number and pick Langlade County. No number handy? Enter the last name and first name together, keep the county set to Langlade, and add case type or date filters only if the results run wide. Antigo criminal docket entries appear there, along with civil, traffic, family, small-claims, and eligible probate summaries. Public-access limits still apply.
- Read the Antigo notice for the issuer and case or citation number.
- Open WCCA for a Langlade circuit matter and select Langlade County.
- Search the exact case number, or use both party names with careful filters.
- Open the result and review the newest court-record events and settings.
- Call the county clerk when a document, old file, or current date is not clear.
WCCA shows a public case summary, not a folder of filed PDFs. Before trusting a name match, check the county, case number, type, filing date, and any other details on the page.
Three Antigo Record Custodians
Three offices, three jobs. Antigo City Hall at 700 Edison Street handles city government and the listed city payment categories. Police work runs elsewhere. The Antigo Police Department at 840 Clermont Street administers the city Traffic Education Program and may hold police records. Circuit matters are the county clerk's business. The Langlade County Clerk of Circuit Court at 800 Clermont Street maintains the circuit-court dockets, case files, copies, and certifications.
| Antigo office | Use | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| City Hall | City administration and listed city payments | It is not the circuit-court file desk. |
| Police Department | Traffic education, issuing-office questions, and police records | It does not hold general circuit pleadings. |
| County Clerk of Circuit Court | WCCA help, circuit files, copies, certification, and court payments | It does not replace city citation instructions. |
These offices sit blocks apart. Routing each request to the right one avoids the common Antigo mistake of treating everything on or near Clermont Street as one city court counter.
Inside the Antigo Municipal Court
The City of Antigo posts no municipal-court docket portal, no judge page, no public citation-search form, and no caseload report. That gap says nothing about your ticket. Ordinance and parking matters may stay in city hands. County or state traffic cases with circuit case numbers route to WCCA and the Langlade clerk instead. When unsure, ask the agency named on the notice.
Antigo can also land in federal court. That track runs through the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Green Bay Division, and PACER, not WCCA. The federal court location page confirms Langlade is served through Green Bay.

The Eastern District case information page explains PACER and sealed federal records.

PACER service handles federal docket search and registration.

Appeals move to yet another court. A Langlade circuit ruling generally goes to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals District III, tracked through WSCCA.
Antigo Is the County’s City
Antigo is the seat of Langlade County. It is also the county's only incorporated city in the Census Bureau's 2020 incorporated-place table. QuickFacts counted 8,100 residents in the 2020 Census. Later estimates put the population at 8,096 in 2024 and 8,060 in 2025. One city, many offices. That explains why city, police, and county court contacts can look like a single local system even though their legal custody stays separate.
Population is context, nothing more. These figures say nothing about Antigo filing volume, and the city publishes no current municipal caseload report.
Finding Antigo Court Dates
Start with the paperwork. The printed date on an Antigo citation, summons, or court notice comes first. For a circuit case, compare it against the latest WCCA case event and the court-official calendar. A later reset or status conference supersedes it. Still unsure? Call the Langlade County Clerk of Circuit Court at 715-627-6215 with the case number ready.
| Number | The Antigo citation number or Wisconsin circuit case number. |
|---|---|
| Date and time | The current scheduled start shown on the latest notice or docket event. |
| Venue | The city office, police program, or circuit court named on the record. |
| Setting | The listed appearance, status conference, trial, or other event. |
| Appearance rule | Whether the Antigo notice allows payment or a mailed response instead. |
Read the citation before the county instructions. Non-mandatory-appearance guidance does not override a mandatory-appearance command on an Antigo citation, and a payment-plan request also requires an appearance under the published county instructions.
Antigo Traffic Education Deadline
The Antigo Police Traffic Education Program lets eligible drivers skip fines and court appearances on minor tickets. Eligibility is strict. You must enroll within five days of getting the ticket, weekends and holidays included. You cannot have a traffic conviction within one year. You may take part only once every three years. An officer can still say no. The fee is $60, payable by cash, check, debit, or credit. Classes run 6 to 9 p.m. They meet in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 700 Edison Street. Enroll through Antigo Police at 840 Clermont Street, or call 715-627-6411. The city says successful completion voids the citation. No ordinary court appearance. No fine. Remember, though, that this is an Antigo police program, not a Langlade circuit-court judgment.
Antigo Traffic Ticket Lookups
Once an Antigo traffic ticket carries a circuit case number, WCCA becomes the search tool. You can pull the case up by citation number, name, county, offense date, issuing agency, or traffic case class. The prefixes tell you what you are reading. TR almost always means a traffic forfeiture. CT marks criminal traffic. FO can signal an ordinance or forfeiture matter. Note that criminal traffic and OWI cases skip the simplified payment route described on the county page.
A city notice with no circuit number is a different animal. Follow the printed instructions and call the Antigo office that issued it. The city posts no general citation-search portal. Parking details and the Traffic Education Program are helpful city resources. But neither stands in for a WCCA case summary once a case lands in Langlade County Circuit Court.
Antigo Parking Is a Separate Track
Antigo runs its parking program on a separate track from circuit traffic cases. The winter ban runs November 1 through March 31. It is in force between 2:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. A violation listed on the city parking page costs $25. Miss the 48-hour window and it climbs to $35. Keep ignoring it and the city may issue a Wisconsin Uniform Traffic Citation. That one carries a $144.50 bond amount. Those figures belong to Antigo alone, not to a countywide fine schedule. The city payment page does list parking tickets among items payable through its Payment Service Network interface.

Parking receipts: Hold onto any receipt the city gives you. If you later need formal proof or a court record, go to the office that actually holds it rather than assuming one Antigo document covers all.
How Antigo Cases Reach the County
Where an Antigo matter ends up depends on what it is. A city parking or ordinance notice starts with the instructions Antigo prints on it. Traffic education that qualifies stays with Antigo Police. Finish it successfully and the city says the ticket becomes void. A state or county citation with a circuit case number takes a different door. That one enters the Langlade County Circuit Court record. From there it can surface in WCCA.
Antigo city notice → Antigo payment or police route → Langlade Circuit Court when filed there → District III appeal when applicable
Need a circuit judgment or order? The Langlade clerk issues plain or certified copies. Federal matters travel a separate path through the Eastern District Green Bay Division. Treat these as distinct routes, not one merged Antigo court database.
Antigo Traffic Ticket Lookups by Mail
A qualifying non-mandatory circuit traffic citation can be answered by mail. Langlade County accepts a written not-guilty plea. The letter must reach the Clerk of Circuit Court before the date printed on the citation. Say you plead not guilty. List each citation number, and include your current mailing address and a phone number. Direct it to the Clerk of Circuit Court, 800 Clermont Street, Antigo, WI 54409.
The county says a status-conference notice comes later. A mailed plea does not excuse you from reading future mail or checking the docket. If the ticket requires a mandatory appearance, the letter option gives no pass. City parking and ordinance notices follow Antigo's own instructions. So do not assume the county plea route fits.
Who Can See Antigo Court Records
Anyone can view eligible Antigo-related circuit summaries on WCCA. No registration is needed. Filed document images are another story. The free terminal at the Langlade courthouse can display scanned files. Counter staff can pull accessible files that were never scanned. Confidential categories, including juvenile, adoption, guardianship, protective-placement, mental-health, and sealed material, may be limited or missing entirely.
Protected information, confidential filings, and sealing procedure sit in Wisconsin Statutes sections 801.19 through 801.21. Juvenile inspection carries separate limits under section 938.396. The Wisconsin Open Records Law does not override these court restrictions.
Certified Antigo Circuit Records
Want a filed Antigo-area circuit document? Call the Langlade clerk with the case number, the document name, and the filing date. Plain copies run $1.25 per page. Certification adds $5 per case number, and a mail order needs prepayment plus a self-addressed stamped envelope. If staff must locate the case without a number, the county charges a $5 research fee.
Only the county clerk certifies circuit records. Antigo Police may hold a police report or a traffic-education enrollment record. City Hall may keep city payment records. None of those swap for the others. Ask the receiving body which form it wants. That could be a city receipt, police material, a plain court copy, or a certified circuit order.
